It is said that in Ayurveda that diabetes is a metabolic kapha type of disorder in which moderate performance of Agni causes a propensity in the direction of high blood sugar. Apart from this, there are also many other methods in Ayurveda that help cure Diabetes like Colon therapy, Panchakarma, etc. ayurdevic practitioners say that the main cause of diabetes is fat, urine and Kapha. They also make use of several preparations for diabetics. Exercise is one of the main cures of diabetes. Yoga and breathing exercises are also conventionally used.
